We currently have a lower-level suite open for a new resident who wants ICS style living, while still qualifying for and receiving full customized living services.
What Makes This Space Different
The lower level of our Bloomington home was designed to feel more like an apartment than a typical care setting. It includes:
- Two private bedrooms
- A large living room
- A private bathroom
- A separate, quieter feel from the main level of the home
- Very Large living space
- Feel like you live at home, have more control over your space and still get the necessary help
- This layout is a great fit for someone who wants their own space to relax, spend time with family, or simply have some distance from the rest of the household, without giving up access to daily support.
ICS Style Living With Real Support
Living in this suite does not mean going without care. Residents here still receive the same customized living services as the rest of our Bloomington home, including:
Help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming
Medication support
Meal preparation
Health monitoring and supervision
Coordination with families and case managers
The difference is privacy. This ICS style setup works well for residents who wants some independent but still need support and help.
Who This Space Is a Good Fit For
This suite may be a good option for someone who:
- Qualifies for customized living services
- Wants more privacy than a shared bedroom/living room setup
- Is comfortable with ICS style independence but still needs daily care and supervision
- Is looking for a smaller, home-like setting instead of a large facility.
- Our Bloomington home is licensed by MDH and led by a Doctor of Nursing Practice with more than 20 years of experience, so families can feel confident that care needs are met even in a more independent setting.
